Linus Börjesson was educated at Vadstena and University College of Opera in Stockholm. The debut took place in 2006 in Verdi's ”Rigoletto” at Folkoperan in Stockholm, where he alternated the two roles Marullo and Count Ceprano. In 2007 he sang in Handel's ”Xerxes” Elviro at the Drottningholm Court Theatre and later that summer Carlo Gustavo of Jacopo Foronis ”Christina di Svezia” at Vadstena International Academy. The latter was repeated at Confidencen in Stockholm summer of 2008. In the autumn of 2009 he participated in Börtz' ”Goya” at the Gothenburg Opera as the Duke of Osuna and cover for the lead role. The fall of 2010 he once again sang Elviro, this time at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. In 2011 he sang Dancaïro in "Carmen" and Bello in "La fanciulla del West" at the same stage. 2012 he sang in a puppet opera for children; "The Boy and the Love for Three Oranges" by Leif Hultquist, at the small stage in the Royal Opera in Stockholm and The Poacher in Janácek's "The Cunning Little Vixen" at Läckö Castle. During 2013 he sang the title role of "Onegin" at Vanemuine Opera in Tartu, Estonia, Second Mate in "Billy Budd" at the Gothenburg Opera and Ping in "Turandot" at The Royal Opera in Stockholm. During 2014 he sang Roucher in "Andrea Chénier" and Masetto in "Don Giovanni", both at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. 

 

He has also appeared in concerts and religious contexts, such as the Berwald Hall and Concert Hall in Stockholm, in works such as Mozart's Requiem, Sven-David Sandström's ”Ordet”, and Carl Nielsen's 3rd Symphony. Linus Börjesson has been allocated for instance The Swedish Wagner Society Bayreuth scholarship.
